Hi I’m Roy, and I’m the Chief Editor here at BonusMonitor. As the Chief Editor, I work mainly on content strategy, but much of my day-to-day is spent fact checking and liaising with management teams of online sportsbooks and casinos.

I’ve been active in the gambling industry for a long time, working as a writer, reporter and journalist. Hailing from Kentucky, you’ve got to be at least a little bit into horse racing, especially when your family were horse breeders. Horse racing was where I started out. But the gambling industry has changed. With the growth we’ve seen online, I had to diversify my interests and I’m now a bit of an expert on the general US gambling industry.

I recently moved back to Kentucky from Florida with my wife, daughter and my four dogs: Bourbon, Churchill, Bluegrass, and Moonshine (who I think are all pretty happy to now be living on the ranch). Most weekends you’ll find me doing a lot of manual work, like mowing the lawn or cooking on the grill, or else I’ll be down at the bar watching football with a few of my buddies.
