Hi, I’m Adam – your friendly neighborhood Brit and senior writer here at BonusMonitor. My job is to review casinos, write featured articles and entertain the rest of the office. While BonusMonitor is a site for online gambling in general, I tend to stick to my area of competence, which is the online casino industry.
Back in England – which to my American friends is apparently the same thing as London – I worked in the online casino industry writing as a freelancer for various casinos, affiliates and news outlets. It was great work, and I really enjoyed it, but by 2019 I felt I was ready for a new adventure. The US provided that opportunity. And in the earliest months of 2020 I landed a job and optimistically set off to a sunlit land that would soon be hit by a pandemic.
Despite my first few years here being tumultuous, I have greatly enjoyed my time in the US and feel immensely grateful to my American cousins for their hospitality and generosity.
Outside of work, I like to play what America has belatedly called soccer. Back home, soccer is a religion (a religion in which it is blasphemous to call it soccer) and it’s been a constant hobby of mine since I was a young lad. While traditional American sports have always seemed unusual to me, I have to admit that I’m warming to them – especially football, though football is, decidedly, not a sport I’m exactly built for. I’ll stick to watching it.
